Anyone who knows me well also either knows, or has heard me talk about Toni. Toni and I have been friends forever. Next Tuesday, her sweet husband, Tom will have open heart surgery. I hope they don't mind me sharing this, but I think they will be appreciative of all the prayers, love and support sent their way right now. We love Toni and Tom so very much!

The Weekend...
Peeking around the corner...
Riding her Radio Flyer... she just doesn't have it figured out yet. She takes these little "baby steps" in place and expects it to move. She's working on it!
She loves bath time now. Can you see why?
First Haircut! She would not sit in the booster seat for her haircut, so Sam had to hold her. She only cried for a few minutes and then she got over it. Casey was great and trimmed it up pretty quickly. Poor baby, her parents had neglected her and not gotten her hair cut. She looked pitiful! A quick trim and she looks much better now!

Anna Claire has started to point out "bo-bo's" on herself and other people. She pointed to a mole on my arm the other day, called it a "bo-bo" and kissed it. Isn't she sweet?
She had a fever virus over the weekend that led to blisters in her mouth, poor baby. She wasn't too fussy and took her medicine like a pro. We had to swab her mouth with a q-tip with some combo of medicines for the blisters. She always wanted to do it herself. She is so independent.
She is VERY interested in shoes! She tries to put on my shoes, Sam's shoes, her own shoes, every chance she gets. She will go in her room and pull out shoes that are too little for her and gets her feelings hurt when I won't put them on her.
She is SO expressive! You never know what kind of face she is going to come up with next. My favorite right now is "appalled." If she does not get her way, she does not look at you with a mad face, she looks at you like she cannot believe you would have the audacity to refuse her whatever she wants. She also can make a very angry face where she cuts her eyes and stares intently. This face usually ends in laughter for all because it is just so funny. She throws those arms in the air out of frustration, puts her head down and pouts sometimes. She bites her "bay" (her blanket) when she is mad for some reason. When she is happy she pumps her little arms in the air and says "yay, yay". She is very kissy and lovey. We suspect she may have picked up her virus from kissing everyone. She loves to be startled, I guess she gets this from Sam, because I cannot stand to be caught off guard.
She is totally taken with Sara Scott, the other little girl who stays at Peggy's with her. I will take a picture of them together soon to post. Anna Claire follows "Scott" as she calls her, around all day long. She is so excited to get to Mimi's and see Scott. Peggy says Anna Claire even follows her to "potty" and watches very intently. She has picked up so many other things from Scott, maybe she will potty train early, too. Those two are the best of friends!
I guess that's about it for now, I'm sure I will think of more later. Every day is a new adventure and she is so much fun!
