I'm a Blogger!

In an attempt to update family and friends of our little Anna Claire's adventures, this is my best effort to become a blogger. I have no idea what I am doing, so this will be a learning process! Anna Claire is almost fifteen months old now and is changing every day. I have not done very well when it comes to capturing (and sharing) many of those special moments, so hopefully this blog will encourage me to improve. My next step is figuring out how to post her photos, so bare with me.

I'm going to try and list some of the words she is saying now, to the best of my recollection...
mama, daddy (usually dally), molly, mckenzie, no, hot, bye-bye, nasty, sip, bite, cracker, down, knock knock, all the names of the family who sits for her (mimi, haleigh, carleigh, na-na), some form of popa (which is sam's dad, or papaw if you ask my dad), some semblance of gran (sounds more like gan, for my mother) and kaykay (sam's mother), bannon (for my Brother Brandon), uh-oh, milk, bottle, diaper (actually she said this very early on and it seems to have disappeared from her vocabulary now), cookie, pizza, cream (for ice cream... can't you tell we feed her well), and I'm sure there are a few that Sam and I cannot remember right now...

I almost forgot!!! The other night she wanted to get down from her high chair after dinner, so I took her out and put her down. I shot a quick wink at her (per usual) and that sweet child smiled at me and said "I love ya". It was the most perfect, priceless and cherished moment in the world! I kid you not, Sam heard her say it, too! She had been repeating it back to us for several days, but this was the first time she ever said it spontaneously. I just melted.

Ok, I'm going to hush now and go get ready for the day tomorrow!
