More cute things Anna Claire says!

Anna Claire will repeat ANYTHING she hears! This can be very funny or very troubling, depending on what you say!


On our way home last night I asked her if she had fun at Mimi's playing with Sara Scott. She said "uh huh" and then went to mumbling and singing to the radio. I kind of tuned out for a minute and then I heard her saying "it was fun, it was fun, momma." I kid you not, she was talking to me like such a big girl. I am amazed daily at all the things that she says...


When we came home last night, she went over to see our "family of pumpkins" and tried to pick up a pumpkin. She looked at us and said "heavy." I was pretty impressed with that.

I was giving her a bath the other night and out of nowhere she starts singing "abcdeeg." I almost fell out! I sing to her all the time, but rarely sing the abc's. I guess she is learning this at Mimi's. I have learned my lesson, we sing abc's ALL the time now! I love the "eeg" part! Don't know what she has against the letter "f."

She can count to 7 but ONLY when she is counting with Mimi's granddaughters, Hayleigh and Carleigh. She will NOT do it for me or Sam! I have heard it on numerous occasions, but cannot duplicate it.

She is learning such good manners. She will now say please, bless you and thank you without being prompted. She does need prompting for yes mam, or yes sir - we are still working on that. She is also getting the word "sorry" down pat, as I make her say it after she throws one of her little tantrums.
